01Scope

This Product Safety & Responsible Use Disclaimer applies generally to Zaplix fitness, training, support, recovery and lifestyle products. Product-specific instructions, warnings and limitations supplied with a product take priority where they are more specific.

02Use products only as intended

Use each product only for the purpose, load, environment and activity for which it is designed. Do not improvise a use that places the product, anchor, body or another person under an unintended load.

03Inspect before every use

Before use, inspect the product for cuts, cracks, fraying, tears, loose stitching, damaged hooks / loops, deformation, corrosion, unusual wear or any other condition that could affect safety. Stop using the product immediately if damage or abnormal wear is found.

04Resistance / elastic products

Elastic and resistance products can recoil if released, torn or improperly anchored. Use a secure, suitable anchor where applicable; keep the face, eyes and bystanders clear of the recoil path; do not use against sharp or abrasive surfaces; and never exceed the stated product instructions or resistance / stretch limits.

05Wraps, straps, sleeves and support products

Do not overtighten a support product to the point of numbness, tingling, discolouration, loss of circulation or pain. A support product does not guarantee injury prevention and should not be used to conceal pain or continue an activity that is unsafe.

06Progressive training

Choose resistance, load and intensity appropriate to your experience and physical condition. Increase training demand gradually and use correct technique. Where necessary, seek instruction from a qualified fitness professional.

07Medical disclaimer

Zaplix consumer fitness products are not medical devices unless expressly identified as such and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Website, guide and social-media content is general fitness information and is not a substitute for medical advice.

If you have an injury, pain, dizziness, cardiovascular concern, pregnancy-related restriction or another medical condition that may affect exercise, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before using fitness equipment or beginning a new training activity.

08Children and supervision

Products that create resistance, compression, load or choking / entanglement risk should be kept away from unsupervised children. Where a product is suitable for a younger user, use should be supervised by a responsible adult and follow the product-specific age / safety guidance.

09Environment and care

Use the product on a suitable surface and away from hazards. Store, clean and maintain the product according to the care instructions. Heat, sunlight, chemicals, moisture, sharp surfaces and poor storage may degrade some materials.

10Stop use if unsafe

Stop immediately if the product fails, feels abnormal, causes unexpected pain or shows signs of damage. Do not continue using a product merely because it is still within warranty.

11Liability and statutory rights

Customers remain responsible for following reasonable safety instructions and using products appropriately. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes any liability that Zaplix cannot lawfully exclude, including liability arising from a defective product, misleading instruction or other mandatory consumer / product-liability obligation.
