Product Authentication & Warranty Registration Terms

Last updated: 4 October 2026  |  Issued by Zaplix Lifestyle Private Limited  |  India

This page explains Zaplix's Product Authentication & Warranty Registration Terms. Questions? Write to support@zaplixworld.com.

01Purpose

Zaplix uses a QR / serial-number system to help customers confirm product authenticity, register ownership and administer warranty services. These terms apply when a customer uses the verification or registration flow on www.zaplixworld.com.

02Information required

To complete the verification / registration flow, the customer must provide:

  • full name;
  • mobile number;
  • email address;
  • product serial number; and
  • a valid purchase invoice upload (mandatory).

Additional product or purchase details may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify an order, investigate a duplicate registration or administer warranty.

03What successful verification means

A successful result means that the submitted serial number matches a record recognized by the Zaplix verification system and the registration information has been accepted. It does not, by itself, certify the current physical condition of the product, verify every statement made by a third-party seller, or expand the product warranty beyond the terms applicable to that product.

04Invoice requirement

Invoice upload is mandatory for registration because it helps establish the purchase source and date, prevent fraudulent or counterfeit registrations and support warranty administration. The invoice must be genuine, legible and relate to the product being registered.

Submitting a fabricated, altered or unrelated invoice may result in the registration being rejected or flagged for manual review. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, but fraudulent use of the system may be restricted.

05Duplicate serial numbers

A serial number is intended to identify one genuine product. If the same serial number is submitted multiple times, the system may display a warning, pause automatic warranty activation, or require manual review. Zaplix may contact the registered customer or request additional purchase evidence.

06Warranty activation

Successful authentication does not automatically mean every product carries the same warranty. Warranty duration, coverage and any registration requirement are product-specific.

Where a product includes a standard manufacturer warranty, the applicable terms are shown with the product. Where an additional extended warranty is offered in exchange for timely registration, the additional duration and registration deadline will be clearly stated. Failure to meet an extended-warranty registration requirement affects only the promotional extension, subject to applicable law.

07Marketing consent is separate

The personal data required for authentication and warranty administration will not be treated as consent to receive optional promotional marketing. If Zaplix offers marketing updates, the customer will be given a separate opt-in / preference choice.

08Data handling

Registration information and invoice files are handled in accordance with the Zaplix Privacy Policy. Invoice files should be stored with access restricted to personnel and service providers who need the information for authentication, warranty, fraud prevention, support or legal compliance.

09Altered labels and counterfeit products

Do not remove, copy, alter, reproduce or attempt to defeat Zaplix serial numbers, QR codes or authentication labels. Zaplix may reject or manually review a product where the identifier appears altered, duplicated, counterfeit or inconsistent with the supplied purchase evidence.

10Resale or transfer

If a genuine product is lawfully transferred or resold, authentication history may remain linked to the original registration. Any transfer of voluntary manufacturer warranty or extended warranty is governed by the product-specific terms. The new owner may be required to provide the original valid invoice and additional proof of lawful acquisition.

11Invalid or unable-to-verify result

If the system cannot verify a serial number, first re-check the characters and invoice. If the issue continues, contact Zaplix support. An unable-to-verify result should not be treated as conclusive proof of counterfeit status until Zaplix has completed a reasonable review.

12System misuse

Automated serial-number guessing, brute-force verification attempts, scraping, mass registration, false registrations or other abuse may be rate-limited, blocked and investigated. Zaplix may preserve relevant security logs where permitted by law.
